Outlive's youth advocates are young people aged 18-24 years, belonging to diverse and marginalized backgrounds.
Rahul Gurjar is a youth leader with Positive Yuva Network, currently working on the Ananya Birla Foundation (ABF) project across Rajasthan. He builds youth capacity on mental health, gender, HIV, life skills, and youth wellbeing, and conducts sessions in Child Care Institutions (CCI homes) with vulnerable adolescents. Rahul uses social media and digital storytelling to engage youth, raise awareness, and reduce stigma.
Bimarsh Gurung is a Postgraduate student of Psychology at Sikkim University, with a strong focus in Social, Cognitive and Counselling Psychology. He currently serves as the General Secretary and Spokesperson of the Sikkim University Students’ Association and is the founder of SU MaSSS, a student-led initiative providing mental and emotional support while advocating for systematic changes in the university and beyond.
Harisha.G is a public health graduate who has pivoted into digital health marketing strongly believes in advocating for the cause of mental health and mental well being. Having worked as a youth advisor has reinforced the importance for bringing about a meaningful change.
Rohit Kumar is a social worker at Moxieheal Foundation with a background in Computer Science, currently pursuing a master's in computer applications. His experiences have given him a strong understanding of the pressures faced by today’s youth. He has also researched generational differences to design relevant awareness programs and social initiatives for children, youth, and communities.
Dhruv is a doctor, photographer, music connoisseur, and coffee aficionado. He firmly believes in a socially informed and holistic approach to mental health that sincerely holds space for lived experiences and personal context.
Yogeshwari Mahawar is from Tonk, Rajasthan and holds a Bachelor’s & Master’s degree in commerce. She is currently pursuing an MBA from Jaipur and is passionate about creating positive change in society, which motivated her to join Outlive YPAG and contribute her ideas toward suicide prevention and the promotion of mental health and well‑being.
Chaitanya Anil Kumar is a postgraduate in Clinical Psychology from Bangalore University and a Gold Medalist in her undergraduate studies. Her interests include adolescent and youth mental health, social-emotional resilience, and culturally informed, evidence-based practice. She plans to pursue doctoral training and contribute to inclusive mental health research and practice.
